Broadsword and Katana are both great for tanking simply because of Parry or Divine Avalanche. That said, choosing a defense based secondary is a little redundant. Willpower is fantastic. I used a BS/WP Scrapper haphazardly IO'd and put many Tankers to shame. I imagine the Brute would only make you that much tougher and you get acceptable aggro control. I am also a fan of Electric Armor; it's got an awesome self heal, layered durability and synergizes amazingly well with Parry. Any secondary you choose with a sword primary is gonna be tough.
Does anyone have any experience of how well BS/SD works for tanking for the end game content? I'm looking for a brute combination that is a solid tank and does good damage for solo play as well and this looks like a decent combination just looking at the numbers.
