NCsoft Launcher won't run

I've had a couple crashes in since I21.5 went live, both seemed graphics related. After the most recent crash I found that the NCSoft Launcher won't run for me. I double click it and get a "NCSoft Launcher has stopped" message box from windows. Asking for details reveals this:

Which means nothing to me. Any advice? Any help? My graphics drivers appear to be updated, but perhaps I'm mistaken.

Having the same exact problem. I've tried everything but I cannot get the launch to start correctly, it always crashes.

well seemingly the Laucher has a problem.

Question which OS u use and are u Admin on that Machine or running the Launcher "as Admin" the least.

U may try also to reinstall the launcher to see if it fixes it.

But btw. 21.5 is not "Live" its only got released on VIP-Beta Server..

And if u tried the Beta and it Crushed ur Launcher/Installation it would be a good idea to post it in the beta Tech/Issues.

Over the course of a couple of days the tech support folks at NCsoft talked me through it. It ended up involving turning off UAC, uninstalling microsoft's .net stuff, updating all the windows 7 stuff, reinstalling the launcher, and then I was fine.

Now I'm having some graphical bugs where the game occasionally crashes. Using an Nvidia 465 card. But I can mostly play so I guess I'm content for now. Smells to me like some software needs patching.

21.5 isn't live? I'd had the impression that 21.5 was when Street Justice would emerge. I wonder what 21.5 entails...Off I go to find out.
