An OpenGL driver - Standard VGA Graphics Adapter was not found
Some OEM video drivers have crippled OpenGL support or lack OpenGL support at all.
If they updated the drivers from the manufacturer's website and are still getting this message it is likely that those drivers don't have full OpenGL support in them.
They may be able to get the drivers from the ATI, nVidia or Intel site, depending on what video card it is.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
More specifically, if Windows is only recognizing it as a "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter", they probably are entirely missing the manufacturer-specific drivers.
On a quick search, it looks like the T60 is a 2006-era laptop which usually had either an Intel integrated graphics chip such as the 950, or an ATI mobile graphics card such as the X1400. Depending on the details, these are not going to get great performance, but with the right (comparatively) modern driver *should* be usable.
They need to figure out what hardware is actually installed, and then probably get the most recent supported driver from the graphics chip manufacturer's site (Intel, ATI / AMD), rather than Lenovo.

I'm asking this for a friend. They recently installed CoX upon their laptop and are getting this error:
An OpenGL driver for your video card Standard VGA Graphics Adapter was not found. The game will not run with your current configuration. Please update your video card drivers in order to add OpenGL support. Go to www.nvidia.com, www.ati.com, or www.intel.com to update your driver. In some cases, such as laptops, you may need to get the latest drivers from your computer manufacturer.
They have a Lenovo Thinkpad T-60.
They went to their website and downloaded most of the stuff, no effect.
They used the "Online Downloader" from the site, I think.
Any aid to this issue, I'd be thankful for.
Note: This is the error gotten after they installed the game and have been unable to play it.
