Welcome back to the City. I would recommend checking out the paragonwiki for all the changes you missed while you were gone. There has been ALOT.

I'm looking into it right now. even though it's a massive amount of information to sift through.
Just like any server, some folks roleplay and some do not. So don't worry about that part. I'd recommend that you join some of the global channels listed in one of the stickies. In a channel, you'll have the opportunity to not only team with folks on different content, but also a dedicated pool of folks who you can ask questions and advice of. And if you like any of them more than the rest of them, you can ask to hang out with them more often.
Bar that, there are always the SG/VG recruiting threads that are also stickied if you just want to join some folks cold-turkey.

If you're not sure who RPs and who doesn't feel free to ask people before you engage. I've done that before and it works out just fine. I'm always open to RP with anyone and you can catch me from time to time sitting in Atlas or the D.

Hi there, I've been playing this game on and off for a little bit (both blueside and redside on various characters) and since the game went Freemium I was instantly hooked again and signed up for VIP to re-enable my characters. However it occored to me that I once again didn't know the first thing about this game again. (and let me tell ya, picking up my mid-level Mastermind or my fragile Blaster again after being gone for so long totally was not helping.) and I need some people I can "learn the ropes" from, if any of you on Virtue would be so kind. I'm not much of a roleplayer but there's nothing saying I'm not willing to try. I have a few different characters, and I'm open to the possibility of just re-rolling if I have to, allthough I feel so lost with all the classes and powersets in this game.
