That's a pretty weird question, honestly. I've built a certain way to get my performance where I want it, so if you take anything away it will obviously not perform the same. Mine is a high end build that uses very expensive enhancements for a reason- If its' performance could be replicated on a smaller budget I wouldn't have bothered investing so heavily. The same is true for every high end build in the game.

Also would it level well or is it really an end game build only?
I leveled up as Tri Form with the help of the MFing Warshade guide- I recommend that anyone making a Warshade does the same. I also think Tri Form will give you better performance than Human Form on any budget aside from the highest end.

I've gotten a few questions about my build lately, so I just wanted to let anyone who hasn't seen other posts know that the build I used for this is not my current build on live- I've been sending the updated version out on a per-request basis but I don't want to post my current build on the board.

I will say that my attack chain is different than the one I used for this, my defense is higher, and it's noticeably more expensive. I've been working out a new feat to post, but in the meantime I just wanted to point out that people who see me reference my build in other threads might notice that it doesn't match up with the one posted here, so this is why.

How do you deal with mezzers?

Why's that?

The Devs have recently taken to selling enhancements for real life money, and I'm assuming with the trend of selling progressively nicer stuff over time they'll be selling Purple and PVP IO's soon. If someone comes on the board looking for help with a build, takes the initiative to contact me, etc. with any questions I don't mind helping them out but I would not feel right enabling a bunch of people to mindlessly clone my Warshade. I worked hard on it after all.

I totally understand your position. The greatest part of this game is being unique in one's build. Unless your building your toon for farming, nearly every AT is genuinely different slotting and enhancement wise, even if another person has the same primary/secondary powers.

Oh, and AMAZING accomplishment btw

Templar of Truth Level 50+++ Triform Peacebringer - Server Freedom
Templar of Judgement Level 50+++ Triform Warshade - Server Freedom
Gaze into the Abyss... OR ...Walk in the Light
And you thought eight Kheldians were awesome...

That's sort of the whole purpose of creating a guide... I worked extremely hard on my Warshade too, and put him through an innumerable amount of respecs to get him to where he is at today, but I figure sharing that knowledge with the general public only serves to help the CoH community.

Hell, it may even be what makes a F2P player decide to become a VIP--so they can test out some of the higher-end builds we offer for them to try--and, adding more paying players can only help the overall quality of this game.

I personally think that players would get more mileage out of me helping them with the slotting on their builds, giving examples that are relevant to their goals and play styles, and things like that than they would me saying "Here's my build." I'm more than willing to help people out if they want it, but I'm not willing to just give my build away for blind cloning.

You have a point.

However, I've always thought that there's a huge difference between a player that may be rich and doesn't know what he's doing, and a player that "earned" their build and is practiced with it.

I guarantee you I'd be able to see the in-game-play difference between you and someone who's tried cloning you.

A Kheldian who knows what the heck he's doing is easy to spot on a team (or even watching him/her solo)--I don't need to look at a person's build to know they can handle their own.

Builds are impressive, but accomplishments--like what you've posted--are more impressive (to me, at least)...

This has always been my position. I eventually did post my build, but not without a heavy dose of caveats.

You also have the benefit of having an extremely unique build that I couldn't see working as well for anyone else but you. My build is a kind of easy mode that only requires a slight inkling of knowing what you're doing... But I like to do outrageous and unnecessary things, at which point I still get a chance to vigorously exercise my brain.
