When a user attempts to create a new game account on the Website and chooses a game account name that is in use, account creation will fail, but the account creation form will not specify why it failed.
We are doing our outmost to have this fixed as quickly as possible and to implement a clearer feedback system. In the meantime, the "workaround" is to pick a different game account name, the more exotic, the more likely it is to work.
If, after an unsuccessful account creation, you decide to click on the Download Windows Game Installer button displayed on the next page, make sure you have cleared your cache as the download may not start otherwise.
