Forgive me if I am wrong, but I think since Rice challenged up to you, then you have to take his challenge and you can't challenge down.

I'm not sure if I have rules right either. I thought challenges up had to be made by Wednesday night and after that if you had not been challenged you could challenge down if you had not been challenged by someone below you on the ladder.

Which means Smallz's challenge to Saga stands. And then Loopy's challenge of Smallz is denied, leaving Rice's challenge to Loopy on the table. Shade challenged me (higher than Rice) so I had to accept that one. Leaving Loopy in a position to accept Rice's challenge as per the rule: "You must accept the highest challenge." Basically since Loopy already had been unchallenged he would not be able to challenge down. Which is why I said I would challenge him next week if I was in a position to. Not trying to be a pita, just trying to play by the rules and make sure Shade/Rice/anyone lower on the ladder who challenges does not get bumped on accident.

And free for all sounds fun... let's do level 5 and I'll switch to a blaster
