Beam rifle weapon unlocks

I don't know about the unlocks, but the Rune Soldier rifle is a pretty good model for a magic crossbow.
The Rune Soldier rifle could work, but the two they removed looked really neat and had glowing magic runes them. They had a really magical feel to them. Right now I'n using the retrorifle as it too can pass for magical.
Has anyone tried tagging the Rularuu defeat badge to see if anything pops?
Does any know if the Beam Rifles they made available in Beta- for a few days anyway- are unlockable in game? I'd really love to get my hands on one for my magic themed Beam Rifle character.
