Kazimers Proposal:
Dr. Vahzilok’s Chance
The Ziggurat Penitentiary had been completely compromised. Drips of water echoed throughout the dark corridors of the water main in the lowest level of the facility. The smell of rotting flesh and death filled the air. There was a faint light present which shadowed prison bars in its background.

In a small area by the water mains valve’s a sharp gust of wind began to seemingly conjure from nothing. Firm dark blue jolts of electricity began to flow and saturate over various pipes connecting to the center of the room. While the wind juggled dust and scraps of old tattered newspaper. One of the pieces read “Dr. Vahzilok sentenced for life.” An old black and white picture revealed what seemed to be the Dr. Before his self-inflicted modifications.

The flow of electricity began to saturate the room and a blue orb materializes a portal. The figure that stepped through it followed by six others was none other than Kazimer himself. The figures behind him were a result of his Abominations. One most recognizable was Meat Hook; his first successful attempt. The others were semi-competent skinless slaves.

Kazimers stride was quick and so were his creations. They made their way down the dark corridor that lead to the only service elevator on the floor. Before he reached it, his attention and focus was disrupted by the dim light beaming from the Doctors cell. He stopped right before passing the doctors cell and threw his fist up to motion his command for his creations to stop in their tracks.

“Who could this be? Down here...that smell. It smells like ****. Rotten Flesh. Familiar…” Kazimer said as he picked a piece of wet newspapers from his dress shoe.

“Gruuuulgggh, it stink like boss’ basement.” Meat hook explained. The other abominations stumbled and stopped in their tracks after bumping into the back of Meat Hook. They seemed to be unwittingly following the pair like a couple of lost puppies. They gurgled like old milk flowing from a carton.

In the dim light of his cell The Doctor sat on his matted bed hunched over with his back turned to the bars. To his right was an old tattered diary which the warden allowed him to keep. It was only allowed because it was what kept the hulking mad doctor calm. To his left on a small table was a kettle and tea set which steamed the finest herbal green tea from Praetoria. It was his new addiction. Allowing him to write down and calculate his experiments made him easy to manage. You could hear a small cassette player in the background emanating an elegant opera song in baritone. He was locked up in the worst of conditions in the deepest parts of the facility. Prison guards didn’t even bother to check in; there was a service shaft that brought him his meals and cameras everywhere watching his every move. He was secluded, isolated and alone. Until now.

Kazimer clanked his fish against the bars.

“You look like **** doctor…” He said.

The doctor was in the middle of writing something down in his journal as he sipped his tea. Hearing Kazimers voice halted his thoughts and the grip on the pen he was using tightened causing the pen to pop like a pimple sending its insides everywhere from the upper half. He turned his head slightly and looked over his shoulder and said calmly.

“What brings you here young man?”

“The Zigg has been compromised or haven’t you herd?” Kazimer replied.

“And that concerns me to what end?” The doctor said.

“I’m here to break you out. You do want out don’t you?” Kazimer said with a returning calm, sly voice.

The doctor set his pen down and closed his journal slow at first but firmly as he slid it towards his stiff pillow.

“I’ve actually come to enjoy my new home. It’s…Cozy. I would think of all people, you/would understand something like this.” The doctor stated.

“This..this is horrific. I wouldn’t even let Meat Hook here dwell in such filth.” Kazimer protested.

“Don’t come to my home and insult me boy. I may have been locked up for a while but I can still pop your head like a 3 week old tomato!” The doctor explained to him.

“Listen, I didn’t come here to exchange pleasantries with you. I came here to break you out. But I’ll need a favor in return and for doing this I have taken the liberty of restoring your former lair and equipping you with new equipment so that you can continue your work.”

The doctor’s brow arched as he fully turned around and faced Kazimer and Meat Hook.
“Why?” The Doctor asked.

“Because I have a problem that, just/wont/go/away.” Kazimer stated.

“And what problem could you possibly have that you would come and bother to break me out and do all this for me…”

There was a slight pause in the conversation.

“The First Sentinels.” Kazimer said as he clenched his fist. He whipped the right side of his blazer back and reached into his pocket. Revealing a bump key that he had had made especially for this moment to break the mad Doctor out of the Zigg.

The doctor’s eye twitched at the mention of the Sentinels. They were the reason why he had been given such a nice new home.

“That’s all you had to say boy.” Vahzilok stated as he braced himself crushing the frame of his bed with his palm while lifting his hulking figure to its feet.

Now the Doctor was face to face with Kazimer, Meat Hook and his minions. The only thing between them was the cell door. Kazimer swung the bump key in front of the doctor’s face which was linked to a small chain that had an Old Russian sickle on a hammer trinket attached to it. In the other hand Kazimer held a bottle of vodka which was still ice cold.
The doctor’s gaze was fixed on the key as it swung idly. He tried to grab it casually but Kazimer pulled back his hand and said.

“Not until we have a drink. I don’t make deals without a drink to seal the deal old man.” Kazimer explained again.

“My patience is running thin Kazimer. Do not toy with me. But…it has been a while since I’ve had a decent drink.”

Meat hook leaned up against the cell door and starred the doctor down. Showing no fear and that he was ready to trounce the doctor in a moment’s notice or at least attempt to. Kazimer reached into his blazer coat pocket as glass clinked together he pulled out two tall shot glasses. They were big enough for at least a double.

“Doctor, I’m going to sit with you. Don’t try anything smart. Meat Hook has a short fuse.” Kazimer assured the doc.

The doctor backed up slowly and turned around and sat back down on his bed. The frame squeaked loudly and sunk. He slid an old wooden stool out from underneath the bed in Kazimers direction. Kazimer caught it with the bottom of his foot and brought it around his side so he could sit. The two crazed scientist consummated their plans over an entire bottle of chilled vodka. Kazimer set the key down on the doctor’s brittle table and stood.

“If I were ever in your shoes I would expect something like this in return.” Kazimer stated.

“If you were ever in my shoes boy, you’d be dead.” The doctor snapped back sharply as he snagged the key off the table.

Kazimer stood quickly and replied calmly, “I’ll never be in your shoes old man. Your feet are too fat.”

Kazimers statement was meant to throw the doctor off. He didn’t want to show any signs of being intimidated by the seasoned super villain.

The doctor looked at the key closely and came to the conclusion that it had been freshly cut. It was clear that this was his chance to get back at those responsible for putting him away in such a rancid place.

Kazimer, Meat Hook and his minions walked with a quick stride down the corridor that they came from. Leaving the Doctor to let himself out. Due to the events unfolding on the upper floors, the doctor was able to escape almost unnoticed. Anyone that did see him was quickly disposed of. The bodies were stuffed into a laundry cart. He has his first batch of parts for his new abomination experiments he had been sketching and writing about in his journal. He was going to bring the Sentinels down to his level. Literally, which meant he wanted his abominations to wear their faces.
