Considering jumping back into PvP

I pvped back in the day before they janked it all up. I had an Ice/EM Blaster (I still have him, but he's shelved because he's worthless to me now).

Trying to jump back into the PvP game (both zone and arena). Any tips on what character I should work on?

Here are some of my higher level characters. There's always the option of telling me to roll something new, but I'm sort of lazy lately with leveling characters.

Rad/Dark Corruptor - 50
DP/Rad Corruptor - 40
Elec/Fire Scrapper - 38
BS/WP Scrapper - 35
Ice/Fire Dominator - 31
BS/Regen Scrapper - 33
Elec/Stone Dominator - 38
Fire/Dev Blaster - 33
EM/WP Stalker - 28

Almost all of these (with the exception of the stalker, whom I don't want to level) I would *like* to be good in PvP, but I'm not sure they're actually viable to be competitive with. Don't wanna waste all my time on one character to find out they're absolutely aweful in pvp.

I know a stalker would be good, but I feel like leveling stalkers is a pain. I have a low level Mind/Fire, but he's really painful to level too.

I love the idea of playing a scrapper in PvP, but I feel like it doesn't always work out nearly as well as I would had hoped. How is Kin Melee for a scrapper in pvp?

Any pointers would be splendid.

The only one of those that will do good on its own is the stalker. Some of the others will work. They won't be optimal.
Psy blast is your staple for blasters. Fire is still good also ice is the worst. EM is still the dominant blaster secondary.

Kinetic (km) is the most popular scrapper set its pretty broken.

Rad fenders are the best debuffer overall. Other debuff sets are better for 1v1 for the most part.

There's still plenty of things to cover those are sort of your basic setups. Incarnates are a pretty big deal in pvp also.

That said most people can have a toon 1- 50 in 4 - 6 hours via AE. Easy.
