With all this said above I am showing on my OS that my driver is outdated when in fact it is not. Acer went through this with me and it seems it is indeed an up to date driver. What do I need to do in order for the game client to see this?

I have the same error message on my older Dell Laptop and I just:

1) make sure I have the latest drivers for my laptop
2) disregard the error message.

The game does not seem to bright when it comes to recognizing what "latest" means, so as long as the game runs OK to you, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I'm not sure what the criteria are for the game putting up that message, but it appears to be the date of the drivers in relation to the current date.

For example, if the drivers are dated one month ago, it doesn't put the message up. If the drivers are dated six months ago, it puts up the message. I'm not sure exactly how many months are involved in the trigger, but I think it's around four months.

Your drivers may indeed be the most current available for your video card, but the date may be outside of the trigger range the game uses.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
