A call for more people to from League teams.
Totally agree Kat. Not a bad start with 5 teams, but im sure everyone agree's that if we can form up a few more teams this would be a much more fun league. Nobody likes a "step stool", more teams the better. Also I think we should stay at 8 man cores because that might promote more teams possibly being created.
We have alot of PvPers who still play, just takes one person to step up, get some friends together or people who are interested. Just take a look at the Free Agent thread, or the PvP in-game channel, you will find people.
If anyone is thinking about forming a team and needs help, let me know I have no problem assisting.

I completely understand the argument for sticking with a core team and not having like 6 or 7 draftees that may not play, mostly cause the core has there solid lineups already. But I feel 1 or 2 extra draftees may not be a bad idea. Mostly because there may be an emergency or something comes up where one of the team members may not be able to make the match. Personally, I'm a HUGE football fan and haven't missed a Dallas Cowboys game in over 5 years. So if they have a 7:00 pm game on Sunday, I may have to sit out that night. All I'm saying is in case there is some sort of reason a team member can't make a match, an extra 1 or 2 on the team would help with that situation.
The problem with the philosophy of keep the core small so more teams are made is that people don't want to make a team they want to play with the people that are already on a team. So instead of making a team and playing with people they don't like, they will enter the draft legit or hide themselves in the draft so they can be on the team they want. Just an insight as to how it has gone in the past.

Two naughty acronym teams / Ascension / Convenient / Artic and the Chillz / Fap / Other teams I can't remember (sorry.. mind is goin')
I'm holding off on a decision for the time being. We will see how it pans out, it will be revisited before the actual draft picking.

My **** is bleeding.
If I can get enough of the guardian people to come over we will try to make a team. For now we will enter the draft.
from = form, that's what happens when you are up all night and try to make a post.
So after talking to a few PvPers on vent this morning that I respect, during a long and boring Sister Psyche TF, I realized a few things.
1. 5 teams is a very good start, but more would be better. If we have to sacrifice draft size for more teams, that is better than having enormous teams with 6 draftees, most of which will probably not even be played much.
2. This league isn't neccesarily meant to be super srs or competitive, most of us just want to have fun... It is a video game after all. I have no doubt that competition will arise from certain teams, but in reality, the level of competition in this game is nowhere near where it used to be. Those of us who still play, play because we have fun and we have friends we like to play with. This is something I've sort of been saying from the start, just wanted to say it again.
3. All of the current teams are teams of people who just want to play together, stacking will happen in any kind of PvP, but for the most part, people are teaming with people they like to play with, people's actual skill level for a lot of people is sort of an afterthought, though it can still be important.
With that in mind, I encourage people to ask around, hit up friends who play now, used to play, new and old friends to participate and form teams... I also encourage people to look at the free agent pool once it gets bigger, and think about who they might want to form a team with. There is no rule against pulling yourself out of the free agent pool because you are joining or forming a team, it is more encouraged than anything. I will be extremely pleased if we can get the amount of teams up to 6 or 7, and ecstatic if we can push it higher.
Also core sizes may be looked into soon, meaning, the maximum may be slightly increased.
