The secondary effect debuff lowers mobs' Status Protection (including KB prot) causing Knockdown to turn into Knockback. I think it normally takes 2 applications to cause this to happen versus evens. However, nothing will turn Knockup into Knockback; higher final mag KU just means higher sailing foes.
