So, still looking for a group for my villain. Any takers?
I used to play City of Villains in... 2006/2007, or something. And now I've returned, with City of Heroes added to my list. I'm starting to get used to the game again, with completely new characters on a new server. So I'm looking for a group to play the game with, but I also enjoy roleplaying every now and then, so if there happen to be RP supergroups around on this server, that'd be even better.
I play several characters at once, so don't expect me to level up extremely fast. The two characters that will probably become my main ones are my hero, Captain Bananas, who is a half-human, half-gorilla superhero. He's also as intelligent as a gorilla. My villain is Stocks, a masked guy with a red hat and a white tuxedo, black shirt and red tie. Likes to shoot people with his big rifle.
I have a story for them both and everything, so all that's left is a group to explore the game with.
P.S.: For Captain Bananas, I'd like a light-hearted group of superheroes to do what heroes do best: fight evil. Nothing special.
For Stocks, probably some group that's all about the money. But feel free to try recruit me into any sort of supergroup.
I'm generally no big fan of RP groups that look down on anyone that doesn't write half a book for every emote, but in case anyone wants to know: I have plenty of RP-experience, so that shouldn't be a problem.
P.P.S.: To be a bit more detailled, the background story of Stocks is, in short:
Stocks, formerly known as Tom Wright, was a succesful businessman with an unhealthy addiction to the stock market. He made fortunes with it, but when the market crashed, he lost nearly everything. It drove him to the brink of insanity and after a while, when his boss was forced to fire him because of his mental condition, he snapped and in a fit of rage, he killed his boss. He was locked up but used his old connections to break out again. Now, he used what he had left of his riches to "buy" himself a new identity. Thanks to the mask, Tom Wright had vanished off the planet and was nowhere to be seen. But he become more and more insane over time and eventually, Tom Wright even disappeared from his own (or should I say Stock's) mind. Stocks, his alter-ego, had taken over completely. So now he wants to have his revenge on society and more importantly, he wants to become richer than ever before.
As for Captain Bananas, it's pretty much impossible to find out anyway, since he only knows a handful of words and otherwise just yells, growls, hits his chest with his fists and scratches his bum. But he's, like so many other superheroes probably are, the result of an experiment. He has human and gorilla genes. He was locked up by his creator but eventually he could escape, although his human side prevented him from killing the scientist. So he decided to use his supernatural strength to protect those frail little humans. In his own mind, they're the silly ones and he's extremely clever. Although anyone can earn his favour by handing him some bananas.
