My secondary is /elec. Plants has seeds, earth stalagmites and earthquake, ice ice slick, grav has wormhole, and fire has flashfire. All of those mezzes are full group mezzes that can happen at the beginning of a fight and are instant. Elec/'s confuse takes so long to jump and stops if they separate (which is another reason I took the aoe immob). Solo is perfectly fine though. I generally do confuse->sleep->immob->kd, but they still aren't sufficiently mezzed.
Solo is great, small teams and even larger low level teams are also good. Even larger teams not made primarily of damage dealers is decent play time for /Elec's core ability. It gradually loses effectiveness as the team damage output goes up.
You might end up having to use strats similar to those used by teamed Corr /Trappers (when applicable) - corner pulling, patch setting, etc (although with more and more Incarnates showing up on teams - the utility of either does take a hit)
Also, take advantage of Synaptic's 'no-aggro' tagging and range; I don't think any of the other sets have a potential AoE Confuse (or 'Smoke') snipe on their hands.
Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"
*Arc #95278-Gathering the Four Winds -3 step arc; challenging - 5 Ratings/3 Stars (still working out the kinks)
*Arc #177826-Lights, Camera, Scream! - 3 step arc, camp horror; try out in 1st person POV - 35 Ratings/4 Stars
