I like reading random guides.
I'd read it. I'd like to know how well it solos and how its damage output compares to other sets.
I'd read it solely because I have played a Dark/Dark corruptor for a few years now and I'm pretty confident that I know enough about it to play it effectively. I wouldn't mind reading about someone else's opinion on this particular combo.
In general I think there's a need for guides that take into account many of the more recent updates to the game. There's a ton of power sets where the most recent guide is either pre-IO's or only shortly after IO's were released.
There is or was a very good guide for D/D defenders, with corrupters I would of flipped things on its head some and weighed on the offense a bit more. It might be nice to see what someone can come up with, sometimes somethings are surprisingly discovered in the process of doing one.

I am thinking about writing up a guide for Dark/Dark. Is there any desire to see this? Are there any particular questions people would like answered about this combination?
