Why wasn't Mace/Axe ported to Stalker?

I know this is a late question but why wasn't Axe/Mace ported to Stalker? If it works for Scrapper, it must work for Stalker right? Scrapper/Brute get 3 ported sets while Stalker only gets one in Ice Armor.

Now, am I sniffing some kind of Stalker change in the future? Am I crazy to think that the reason Mace/Axe didn't get ported to Stalker (it should be easy enough as they can just take out pbaoe like they've done to Ninja/Broadsword) is because they may add pbaoe back to the sets?

Other than that, I can't imagine why Mace/Axe weren't ported. It just hits me tonight when I was looking at Scrapper's War Mace (that Clobber looks so delicious).

Or it has more to do with Assassin Strike's animation? They can't or don't have time to figure out what the animation should be for Mace/Axe? Well, if they think of one, it works for both. :P

I want a War Mace Stalker so bad. The AS animation for Mace should be "baseball-like". You wait for 3s and then hit a Home Run!

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

My guess is because when one imagines a sneaky, shadowy assassin type character like a Stalker, one does not imagine a gigantic Battle Axe or War Mace as their weapon of choice. When I think of an assassin, I imagine their weapons as light-weight and easy to carry, neither of which fit War Mace and Battle Axe.

Because it would require a new assassin strike for each powerset - it's the same reason they didn't get Ice Melee - the art team was swamped enough.

Deamus the Fallen - 50 DM/EA Brute - Lib
Dragos Bahtiam - 50 Fire/Ice Blaster - Lib

Formally Dragos_Bahtiam - Abbreviate to DSL - Warning, may contain sarcasm

As opposed to a broadsword?

Yes; "no new art/animations" was a key component in what did and didn't get ported this round.

We chose Ice Armor this time around as it was a fun and thematically interesting power set and it was the only option that didn’t require substantial art time. Since our talented artists are working their rear ends off making content in Issue 21 shine, this round of Power Set Proliferation required that there would be no art time used.
