Was planning on a SJ/Ice probably just to try both powersets but I haven't been back since they fixed the account server. Probably want to ask on the beta forums. Not sure it can be talked about here. As for 2x weekend, is that even working on Beta? Not that it should matter. I think you can request a level bump there.

You can talk about it. There's no NDA considering anybody who has an active account may gain access to the Beta - therefore there's no reason to keep anything under the table and out of sight.
I think my major gripe about /Ice (for any AT for that matter) is the graphics are just boring and lack that special treat for the eyes to keep me playing them. I've heard good things like Bastion being a great T9 replacement but that's about it.

I've never done the beta thing, but I'm really tempted to install it while still in double xp weekend. I want a kat/ice stalker. That might be the coolest AT ever. I've got an ice/ tank that I really dig and a kat/ scrapper who's unkillable. A kat/ice would be a god. A GOD!!
