Ice/Elec or EM Blasters question.

Hey, played this game for over 5 1/2 years before quitting. Just returned and would like to give the new underdog a go round. Anyone have any luck with Ice/EM or Ice/Elec Blaster builds? Could use some advice here. Thanks.

fyi, damage is based off animation times now so ice blast does very poor damage.

I would choose the /em for raange booost.

I remember you from back in the day, you used to post videos and played on a spines stalker if i remember correctly.Anyway as posted above everything is animation times now.....Fire/Em and Psi/EM are the new fotm's for blasters, fire for dmg and psi because its dmg is delayed alowing for some massive spikes, you want hibernate and phase, and just an update on phase, if someone else is phased when you are they can attack you now. Not exactly what you were asking for but just wanted to say hi to a old fellow pvper from back in the day pre issue 14

Ps, I didnt put that build above me into mids but just glancing over thats gonna be expensive for someone who remembers Lotg going for 40 mill rather than 175 now. You can make a perfectly viable pvp build between 1-2 billion using non pvp Io's.

Cool, thanks a ton for the tips. Looks like it will be awhile before I hit the zones then. None of my characters are ready for these new builds I see running around out there. And yeah, the prices on these IO's are insane now. Looks like I have my work cut out for me. Thanks again, guys.

Tip missions let you cherry pick the hardest IOs to get outside PvP and Purples. So the +Recharge LotG IOs are easier to get since you should be getting 1.5 Hero Merits per day if you play a lot. That's maybe 8-10 days for all 5 while getting salvage in missions. After that you can buy expensive recipes and sell them to start building cash reserves.
