I haven't been playing much for quite a few days. But my shiny new tower will be here tomorrow according to UPS, and my video card and monitor will be here Saturday according to FedEx. I got tracking numbers!
So there's a good chance I won't have the heart to subject myself to another week of playing on my current archaic trainwreck of a computer, but I'll be online here and in Champions constantly by Saturday evening.

Hehe. Next Saturday or Sunday the Freedom thing is going down. I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple of people before I set up strict times.

Ok, 9:30 saturday sound good to you guys? I haven't heard back from a few people, including Digaroo. So me or Stone might have to record it.
I'm thinking depending on how ambitious we're feeling, a BAF or a TPN. TPN would be my preference but everyone might not be up for that.
I have my birthday party saturday afternoon too so I'll probably be pleasantly intoxicated.

We began the night with a Numina tf. With only four people, we did a great job at dividing the hunting portions of the task force.
Afterwards, just to make Omega jealous....
It was a good night.
It really was great fun.
Nothing tonight due to a rather severe lack of people. So yeah, maybe next week.

Assuming people are still logging into COH at that point. I thought it'd be best to start scheduling our CO trajectory ASAP since the COH population has been dwindling more and more rapidly since the announcement. I'm worried that if we don't start moving people to CO as quickly as possible, we'll lose all of our familiar faces because no one will know what the plan is.
It's obviously up to Stone though. Shrug.
I'm hesitant to label it freeform, because that implies that one must be freeform to join. It also implies that any type of freeform is welcome, when obviously I would prefer characters with a majority of Void powers (or blue/white colored powers for the peacebringer equivalent).
Title nitpicking aside, I plan on moving over to CO for our Friday events either as soon as CoH is down, or we stop getting enough people to run Kheldian Fridays here. Whichever comes first. I'll also want to see how many people are migrating to CO, because if it's only like two or three, then it's not really an event. More of a superteam, really. And we'll be able to flex the times if need be as the situation arises.
I suppose I will have to edit the KF channel with CO contact information, but to those of you that haven't already (if you plan on seeing me there), feel free to add @stonedaemon on CO when you get a chance.

And you're totally right about the title- Free Form Friday just rolled off the tongue though.
Re: Equivalents.
For anyone toying with the idea of moving over to CO but not sure about free form, there are a couple of Archetypes similar to Khelds.
The Radiant is light themed.
The Void is negative energy themed.
If you are willing to tackle the free form learning curve, you can make something drastically more similar to a Kheldian. Switching builds on the fly means that you can have the equivalent of a tri form Kheldian, though a Nova costume would be pretty tough to replicate. Doom said he had some luck coming up with a Black Dwarf look though.
Also, The Rush of Battle from the Vindicator tree is very similar to stygian circle (but less OP.)
