sub menu troubles
oh no don't tell me I've stumped the forumites?! you guys are my only hope!
type:
/showbind lbutton
/showbind rbutton
to see what's actually bound to them. To remove all binds from them, type:
/unbind lbutton
/unbind rbutton

I never knew about that command but that puts me on the right path for sure. Hopefully I can fix it from there! thank you Zom! you're always on the ball man!
didn't seem to work. I found the list of slash commands and dug through that for a while, but still nothing that relates to my problem. It's like whatever bind it is that makes the menus come up on powers and other things just got dropped. Next step is doing a reinstall of the game. Hopefully this'll work.
Reinstalling the game shouldn't be necessary, though verifying the files couldn't hurt.
It could be a graphics card issue (not showing the pop-up windows correctly). Have you updated/changed/reinstalled drivers for your graphics card recently?

Not recently, no. the most changes I've made was updating to the new loader last week, but I can't see how that would affect it. I'll try a verification though, thanks
EDIT: that didn't work either. I'll update my Gcard and see if that works tomorrow
ok, updated vid card, uninstalled/reinstalled mouse drivers, uninstalled/reinstalled the game client. STILL no right-click menus. I give up, guess I better just get good at macros....
Hi,
you said at one point that you replaced the batteries of mouse. Im assuming cause of this that the mouse you are using is cordless. So can u try using a cable mouse or at least a different mouse for a test session?
Had once the problem that i was using the mouse at what was apparently the max range for its transmitter and was getting similar results (not only in Cox).
Greetings
After reading that I realized that it would be good to just have a spare kicking around in case of sudden battery death in the middle of a LRSF or something so I went out and got a USB mouse. Same results, no Rclick menus... I honestly have no idea what could be the matter.
Hello beyeajus!
If you can, try and navigate yourself to the "Mouse" option in your control panel (Or Mouse/Keyboard, if you run XP). There is a "Switch Primary and Secondary Buttons" option. Make sure that is unchecked. As well as in game make sure you have you option set as "Normal". From the posts made already, I couldnt exactly tell if this was tried yet or not. So give it a shot and good luck!

Thank you Demon but the settings are fine, I double checked to make absolutely sure too. The weird thing is is that it started happening while playing one day, like during a mission. I may have slipped and hit some kind of keyboard command, not sure and I don't know of any that would cause this to happen. It's still happening though, not being able to delete stuff really sucks...
I have a problem with right-clicking to get sub-menus open in game. I can R-click to drag the screen around, but when trying to send a tell to someone standing nearby, combine inspirations, check the details of a power in my buff bar, no response at all. I've replaced the batteries in the mouse even though the mouse functions fine, tried a different mouse, checked the options thoroughly, checked other characters, and other server characters, and the problem is consistent on all of them.
While checking the options, I accidentally reversed my mouse buttons at one point. It was then I noticed that what I didn't see before but did now that they were reversed, is that clicking my R-mouse button (now acting as my L-mouse button) attempts to drag my powers around on the tray for a quick second when I tap-click on it, therefore I'm unable to use my powers, open the menu to quit, click on NPC's etc. Had to use task manager to quit lol. the R-click didn't show me that since it wasn't on this button then. Confusing? Yah me too. But after reversing them, I couldn't L-click on anything because once again, the action wouldn't happen just like it wouldn't when right was right. it will just try to drag it for a split second.
I bugged it, checked my windows mouse setting, set it back to default for good measure, asked around in the help chat, no responses. Anyone ever have this happen? It's driving my crazy, especially the no combining insps part.
Thanks
