Well first off welcome back. Second off most people have there own SGs although there is a few out there that is not like that. Thirdly most people are in 2 of the justice chat and usually team that way for different things. The 2 chats are Justice United, and Justice for All. If you join those 2 channels you can get a team lot easier just ask a MOD of those channels to unsilence you.

Get to level 10, create an SG, pad 15 (disposable level 1) toons into it (getting you 300K) , and buy a 2x2 workshop (100k) and enhancement storage table (95K), and 7 salvage racks (15K*7=105K). Congratulations, you are broke, but have lots of storage on day 1. The only tricky part is you might need someone else to join and invite your padders for you. I can do that if you find me in game (usually 7-10 EST weekdays, and random times on the weekends).
If you need functionality, just coalition with a really-old, mostly-abandoned SG's (like mine!) that have all the telepads, crafting tables, etc. and coalition-friendly security settings.
I've done this for a couple of new (or returning) solo-artist types. Look me up at @Granny on Justice if you want a coalition.

P.S. You could also opt for 6 storage racks and the Invention Workbench, which I think is 15k, and requires no power or control, if you are inclined to craft without popping back and forth between bases.

My group is one of the more traditional groups LSK was referring to if you're not interested in making your own or relying solely on the two global channels (which I would recommend joining anyway, regardless of SG status).
You can check out the finer details at www.lojheroes.com to see if we'd be a good fit for you. Most of the important info is listed on the website. The only thing lacking (I think) is our play hours, which tend to be slanted more for west coast players. Our peak hours of activity are from 7 pm to 10 pm Pacific.

Hello all...
I'm hoping there is a supergroup out there that might be willing to extend an invite my way (or point me in the right direction to apply for one).
You can consider me fairly new to the game (although I have owned the game since release and even played the beta). I have no 50s (highest hero is 33 right now, which is an Inv/SS tanker). I'm looking for a friendly and decently active supergroup that doesn't mind answering the odd noobie question that I might have (I'm still getting myself back into the swing of things...there are a lot of new components to the game since I last played).
I'm a casual player myself and certainly not an elitist, although I do strive to be as efficient and effective as possible. You'll find me on usually in the evenings (PST) and maybe some daytime playing on weekends.
Any info would greatly appreciated!
