Empty character slots have gone missing?

I've got two accounts and each one has between two and four empty slots for new characters. On Sunday (7/17) I logged on to each account and noticed that all the empty slots on each account were missing. I had just enough slots for my existing characters, but nothing else.

Anyone else encounter the mystery of the disappearing empty slots?

When the NCSoft Store is down, you lose access to any "extra" character slots you've purchased or earned with veteran rewards.

They'll be back once the store is active again.

It should also be noted that if you delete a toon, you will probably lose access to that slot until the store is back up as well (if you've got more than 12 slots unlocked on that particular server).
