Another comic book legend, gone, but never forgotten. Gone to that great comic con in the sky.

RIP, Gene. I met you at the San Diego Comic Con once. You were and are a true gentleman.
He passed last night at 11pm, but his artwork will live forever...
One of my all time favorite artists from Marvel's heyday.

If you don't know his work, it's worth looking at the original Tomb of Dracula series, where he helped to create Blade prior to Wesley Snipes. For comicbook-philes, there's also Howard the Duck, and the scores of other art he added to Daredevil, Iron-man, the Avengers, etc...
I knew some friends who were lucky enough to take his class in NY, at SVA college. How cool must that have been.
