Elec/DB Tank - comments welcomed
A ela naturally has high resistance and cant really be gimped if you take all your toggles plus tough. 3slot them with basic IO's and your on very high res. I have a guide incorporating defense in my signature. There is a ela/db build there I posted as well. You can get some ideas there to get your smashing and lethal defense to softcap.

Thanks for the reply untoldhero, I did check out your well written guide on the electric armor and based my build a little on the build you posted. In your build however you negleted to pick up Ablating Strike which lets you do the Weaken and Empower combos from the Dual Blade set. Although not quite as high as your numbers the build I posted has 42% defense and 73% resistance to smashing/lethal. After a little more tweaking I was able to get smashing/lethal resistance to 75% by replacing the end and resistance io's in tough with some hami-o's.
Yes sorry im at work and cant open ur build. I have a ela/db build that has all attacks and is softcapped to the 4 typed defenses. Com to think of it I should maybe add that to the post ill post you the build once I get home with all the attacks in it. Still tho I wouldnt worry about def on E/NE unless you really really really want it. I need to write a guide on ela's mitigation tools which will explain how you can escape that damage type/s without focusing on defense for survivability.
