Your build will work fine. I still don't understand the fascination with farming, though. You can get INF almost as fast by doing morality missions on non-farming characters, or just play the game and not worry about how fast you get INF. The only IOs that are out-of-reach for most people who don't farm or play the market are purple sets, and those aren't very good for many builds anyways.
Many people prefer Mu Mastery so they can have two AoEs from their epic pool: Electric Fences and Ball Lightning.
I enjoy farming because I can help people, make money, and see a lot die quickly.

Ya the xp is less in AE, but it's so many enemies defeated with very little movement required, that it's just so convenient. Additionally, the recipes you acquire with the tickets, can easily bankroll a new alt's starting funds. It's not a requirement for me, more of a side benefit - but for other's it is a nice inf boost to help their new 50 begin to io.
That build will work, but I would forget about building for fire defense unless it's with a recharge set bonus. Don't know why some people build for it when you have capped resistance. The recharge is definitely sufficient, but I'd try to pack as much as you can in there and forget about every other set bonus.
Also, go Mu Mastery for an extra AoE. Since it's just for farming, there's no reason you shouldn't.

Mu isn't going to work for me. He's already Hero side and I don't feel like spending a week on switching hero-vill-hero.

Minor tweaks .. kept Fire Mastery
Just moved around couple of slots, improved your recharge slightly .. still hard-capped to Fire Resistance.

Hey all this is my farm build for SS/Fire and I would like to receive some input. Hey will only be used for AE ambush farming. I would not like to spend over 2b on a purple set. Thanks!
