Hi there, and welcome back to the city! If you see me around, I love meeting heroes, so just let me know when you're there! I'm @Taxibot Belle. I will suggest, though, that you not worry so much about leveling taking a long time. Just hop on some teams, help out some contacts, and you'll be there in no time, I promise! You don't need high levels to try Architect Entertainment missions, there are a lot of really great stories even for lower-level heroes. Try some of the ones that have won awards first, those are almost always really fun!
Finding a supergroup usually isn't too hard. Just hop on some teams now and then, and when you find someone you like, ask to join theirs. Most of the time, they'll be happy to invite you! You can also look at the list in City Hall of the ones with the most prestige, although keep in mind that because some of them want so much prestige, a few of them have silly requirements for adding prestige to the supergroup and such.
There are also a lot of really neat global channels that you can use to try to find people. I'll let some of the others suggest channels. If you join them, though, you can almost always get some heroes to join you for a task force or missions, which is great!

These channels are a great place to look for a team for leveling. I've been an on and (mostly) off player of CoH since about the time CoV was released. Having gotten tired of WoW I've decided to change my MMO of choice to be City, but returning after such a long hiatus I'm ashamed to say I've forgotten just about everything about this game. The last things I remember are making my Praetorian Hero gaining access to Kheldians and making my Widow. I really want to get back into him but leveling is taking a long time and from what I understand Widow's really start at 24 when you can choose a spec.
The last time I was on my Supergroup was flourishing and there were quite a few higher levels to run me through AE missions and stuff like that, now all my SG's are dead and I have nobody to even talk to, let alone run with.
If any of you out there would be willing to lend me a hand I would really appreciate it. I want to like this game I really do but I can feel my attention span withering...
