I tweaked your softcap build to get you softcapped to Smashing, Lethal, AND Energy damage.
It requires you to go villain in order to obtain Scorpion Shield, but it gives you good defense to the 3 most common damage types in te game (there's more pure energy attacks out there than a lot of people realize)
It should be relatively cheap, as it only involves one set of Kinetic Combat and no purples/PvP IOs at all. Pretty much everything in the build can be obtained via A merits, for no more than 2 each.
Just food for thought. Figured I'd let you know it's possible to softcap 3 damage types instead of just 2 if you're so inclined.

Yeah I was aware of scorpion shield but I may be just a bit too lazy to put all that effort in to get him red then back blue again

I have 3 builds for my fire/fire blaster and cannot decide whether I want a softcap, recharge or damage build. I will post the 3 builds up and I hope you guys can help decide which is worth slotting.
Money is limited too so no really expensive purple sets and PvP IOs (glad armour etc)
