I don't care about bleeding edge--so if you mean "decent" the same way I do, you could go with the cheapest effective solution. I went with a GT 430 (Zotac brand from tigerdirect, 1GB DDR3, PCIe 2.0x16) for $50 ($70 minus $20 rebate). Works just fine in Ultra mode, with the settings set to the lower-middle of the slider.
Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't justify spending multiple hundreds of dollars on a graphics card, just to see a bit more graphics "wow"? Meh. Doesn't really make the game play any differently.
I upgraded my entire computer for $225 (new motherboard, AMD Athlon X2 5200+ cpu, 4 GB ddr2/800 ram, cpu fan, and the above graphics card).
Depends what you mean by "decent" I suppose.
