Radiation/Kin Corruptor vs Radiation/Fire Blaster
I would go with the Rad/Kin, but I have a bias towards Corruptors.
The Blaster will have a higher damage cap, but I can't think of much else it has going for it. You can SL cap the Blaster so it isn't really a glass cannon, and even with Kin, a Rad/Fire's personal AoE is going to be noticeably higher. On a team though, a kin is going to make a much bigger difference (force multiplying etc.) as I'm sure you know.
I've played a Rad/Kin for a while now, and the damage certainly isn't Fire Blast, but it's not actually that bad. I also like the machine-gun nature of Neutrino Bolt, which the Rad Blast wouldn't have.
Most of this is my opinion, hope some of it helps.
Tux.

Favourite Toons: Prosper [Ill/Rad] Controller :: Infinitus [Fire/Elec] Blaster :: Pocket Dynamo [Fire/Shield] Scr :: Fast [Cold/Sonic] Def ::
Inspire [Plant/Storm] Controller :: Quality - SS/Fire Brute :: Double Down [DP/Kin] Corr :: Pwnz [Fire/Cold] Corr :: Fail [Fire/Son] Corr
I'm curious about the differences between these two set combos. Kinetics is obviously a lot better at survivability and buffing. The Blaster is a glass cannon (in this case more like sugarglass). I already have the Blaster at 30, but now that Kinetics is no longer annoying, am wondering whether the damage difference is enough to keep the Blaster around.

As for your question, if your main focus is Radiation Blast, then Blaster's version is better. I really dislike Radiation on Corr because I don't like the fast recharging, low damage attack. Damage just feels very low to me but my character is Rad/Sonic and maybe it has something to do with it. lol
Radiation on Blaster is good with typical 4s Bolt and 8s X-Ray and Cosmic Blast is one of the best range attack with a sure mag3 stun.
But if you care about your secondary, then I would say Rad/Kin Corr is better and you already have a blaster, so why not try Corr?
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

I can't tell you too much about the Cor, but I can tell you that my Rad/Fire/Mace that is S/L softcapped can ticket cap on +2/8x in about 4 minutes on a map that isn't specifically tailored to S/L (ie: the AE mission in question has a variety of damage not just pure S/L, the mobs are not weak to Fire, there are some mezzers present, and 20% of the mobs are designed around staying at range rather than all melee).
You only need an occasional purple insp to halt a defense cascade, an occasional green insp when the RNG hates you too often in a row, and the occasional break free. The rest of the insps you can convert into reds. I usually have anywhere from 6-12 reds of various sizes going at any one time and hit the Damage cap with Aim and Build Up frequently.

I decided to stick with the Blaster. I think I was just at one of those level ranges where the full potential of the character wasn't yet apparant. Acquiring Burn and (suprisingly) Bonfire completely changed the character's damage output and life expectency. Thanks for the feedback guys.
