Steampunk costume pieces not displaying on character

Are you in /sgmode? Do you have it set to show your SG's chest emblem?
Main Hero: Chad Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1396 Badges
Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges

Oh! Wow you're a lifesaver. I just joined the SG today so that never occurred to me, but that fixed it! Thanks 
This probably isn't the best place to post this but I figure there's an easier fix than waiting days for tech support to get back to me.
I bought the Steampunk pack and the costume pieces show up at the tailors. When I save the costume and get back in game, though, I can't see the chest details on my character - even though in the costumes window, they're there. This happened with the Roman armor too.
