Damage Procs in Quills - worth the slot?

Title says it all really, got a spine/regen and thinking about dropping armageddon change for fire damage and obliteration chance for smashing into quills on latest build and wondering what the view was on this.

Assuming I'm not bothered about the cost of the purp proc, is it worth the extra slot it in the general consensus? The obliteration proc is pretty much going in regardless for the set bonus recharge as the acc/recharge is worthless on current build so not too bothered about that but I'm unsure on the extra slot for the purp proc.

Any opinions?

Thanks in advance.

Depends on how often you use spine burst, because if it is being used more than once every 10 seconds if you have lots of recharge, then it might be better there. I am a fan of procs so I would do it, yeah.

I advice against PROCs in Toggles for a scrapper. PROCs follow a 10 second rule in toggles, meaning the chance of it going off only rolls every 10 seconds, assuming you have target in range when your 10th second comes up.

It's fairly easy to get Spine Brurst recharge to 10 seconds, where I can be sure to have plenty of targets to roll on.

Do it! I would advise against it if it creates endurance and/or recharge issues. Keep in mind you are losing 3.75% melee/1.88% s/l def (6 slotted Obliteration bonus)

I slotted 4 procs into Quills (Impeded Swiftness, Scirocco's, Eradication and Obliteration) along with 2 HamiO's (+acc/dam) and it works out well in crowd situations like in an ITF, LGTF etc.

I wouldn't slot them into quills but as other have said slot them into spine burst.

Last time I experimented with a PROC in a toggle, I was able to track the damage via Hero Stats. A 20% damage PROC added 0.05% to my total damage output.
