1st build Stone/Fire
Would it be a possibility for you to post the datachunk so I can open it ? Datalink doesn't always work for me (or for others.)
Just looking at your sets, you slotted a full set of Panacae. I don't believe you want that.. as those 6 IOs would cost more than the whole entire build. Plus, it isn't exactly needed.
Health and Stamina have decent slotting. I suggest for Health remove the Heal/End and put in the Miracle +Regen. For Stamina, remove the Efficiacy IOs and slot in Perf.Shifter EndMod, EndMod/Acc, Chance for +End . You will appreciate that more.
But please, post the data-chunk so others can help more easily :3
Why not go with a Tanker instead if you want Stone Armor? The penalties for using Granite Armor reduce your damage output to something similar to a Tanker. The armor values on a Tanker at least have the potential to be capped to all resistances and be at 45% defense to all but psionic. Reaching the defense numbers may be possible on the Brute, but your Energy resistance will never be at 90%.
no its not stone armor, its stone melee and fire armor. it's good so far at 32, great dmg + consume is good for my end

Why aren't you slotting your resistance powers? Both Plasma Shield and Tough aren't fully slotted for resistance. I understand you're probably going for Defense bonuses but even at softcap it makes sense to also have your resistances up to speed too, surely? Ditto with Weave, if you are going for Mr Softcap surely slotting Weave is an important part of that?
Also you might be better off going with the Soul or Mu PPP rather than the Fire APP. Melt Armour is poop on a stick whereas Gloom, Dark Oblit and Darkest Night are nice from Soul and Cages and Ball Lightning are nice from Mu (the single target blast isn't bad either, it's not Gloom but it's ok).
Looking at your second build you are aiming towards soft-capping Melee defense, which is sort of tough to do.. however, Softcapping a */Fire is extremely pricey and the values in the attacks surely bite.
Just for example, here is a Softcapped Stone/Fire .. it is insanely expensive, but all it really focused on was defense..
