Hello guys

I recently decided to resuscribe to the game after 2-3 years, but it seems the game is not that stable. From the day i reinstall it i have constant crashes.

My system is very good atm with Windows 7 with I7 core, GTX 480 and 6 Gigs of ram.

Since i reintsall i had fatal error crashes, falling through the world, crashing while changing zones, crashing while loading and the game just stops.

I downloaded the game through steam, dleted it, re download it through the client, update my nvidia to teh new beta drivers. Nothing i just crashed 5 times in 15 minutes.

So any help would be appreciated it.

Something is blocking CoH Helper from reading from the registry, which is all it does with regard to the registry. That indicates a problem with your system or a program behaving badly and doing something you don't want it to do.

It's possible that whatever is causing the problems with CoH Helper reading from the registry is also causing your problems with the game.

The first thing I'd recommend would be to run a full Virus scan on the computer. Of course, I can't see any entries for an Anti-Virus program in your HJT logs, so I don't know which (if any) you have installed.

The next thing would be to run a full malware scan. I'd recommend downloading, updating and running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free edition and possibly also try SuperAntiSpyware as well. I've caught things with both of those that Spybot didn't detect or remove. I like Spybot, but I also recognize it has it's own limitations.

After that, I'd try disabling the nProtect Game Guard Service and turning off the two Download Managers that are running as well as Daemon Tools. I'd also try turning off the TeaTimer service in Spybot (I've seen the TeaTimer do some things I couldn't explain) and even temporarily disabling Spybot altogether.

If it were my system, I'd remove the extra Toolbars and stop most of the programs that are running at Startup as most of them only need to run when their program calls for them.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'd also make sure Windows is fully updated, including Service Pack 1. Windows Updates are there for a reason.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Thx for the info mate.

Ok first i am using spybot for malware, running it every 2 days.

Second dont really use antivirus as most of them are resource hogs, i know it makes me vulnerable, but as long as you dont visit strange sites dont open any kind of e-mails from people you dont know i think i should be ok.

My start up programs are very few i mean i have Razer Lachesis, xonar d2 Audio center, Daemon and Nvidia settings. Also what toolbars i have that i have remove?

Furtermore i am downloading now the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware i already have the paid eddtion but not installed as it never finds anything. I will post the results in a few minutes.

Also what two download managers i have? I only use Internet Download Manager.

Thx for the info mate and i hope you can help me fix this damn crashes

In addition i forgot to mention i run scandisk and defragment a week ago and no bad secors were mentioned in the logs.

Well i checked it with quick, nothing went with full and found some patchers and trainers but nothing else

That is no longer a safe assumption. I regularly have to remove viruses and malware from computers at work that haven't been to any strange sites.

Take a look at your HJT log. The O2 section lists BHO's and Toolbars. The O4 section lists the items running at Startup.

Your HJT log also shows the IGN Download Manager running in the O4 section.

Ok crashed again "sigh"

Well here what i did , checked with the registry clean expert and then disable the autoruns in the startup organizer.

Downloaded autoruns and i deleted "npggsvc" nProtect Game Guard Service and the IGN download process.

I checked autoruns and a new Hijack log and for the O2 procees i have the following:

Downloaded all windows updates and installed them.

Also i disabled UAC in my windows to see if teh COH Helper would work but i still cant get the resgistry of the game , no idea why "sigh"

So any new advice
