AR/Traps review and critque

A few days ago I watched the Duke Nukem Forever release trailer. (Took forever to get out) Since then I've made a DN themed Corruptor, AR/Traps. I was surprised by how it turned out exactly.

34% all around defense save for S/L (41%), E/N (Almost 45%), Melee (40%) and Ranged (Almost 40%). Also with Tough and Temp Inv he'll have 50% S/L Resistance, which is high for a squishy, with a near meaninglys 10% F/C Resistance. On top of this is 106% Recharge (No Hasten, but that's still a lot of recharge), Hover to keep at range and Power Build Up as a replacement for Build Up which is missing from the two sets.

Acid Mortar might be a little under slotted, I'm not sure, but Caltrops is only single slotted with a Damage Proc and We Grenade only has two slots, with purples. I also added Blessing of the Zephyr into Fly for some KB protection, Musculare Radial Paragon Alpha for extra damage and endurance mod, plus some defense debuffs, Pryonic Core Judgment, Reactive Radial Interface, Seer Radial Lore (It's the Duke, gotta have his women) and Ageless Core Destiny for even more Recharge and Recovery.

Made some changes from the last one. Swapped to Cardiac to reduce the toggle costs, plus a little extra Res (Going from 50% to 57%) and Range. Attacks with Positron's Blast had the Damage/Range dropped for the Proc. Power Build up had two Recharge Reductions added in. Beyond that, more or less the same.

For the record, used to Tanks, Brutes and Scrappers. Corruptors are still something I'm getting used to.

I suck at the whole looking at builds 'n' IOs thing, but I do have lots of experience with traps.

A couple things: Caltrops + reactive is OMG insane -- the proc has a chance to go off with each damage tick as far as I can tell. With some decent recharge, you can have 3 out at a time.

Seeker drones is NOT a good damage power -- slot it for ToHit debuff (THD sets often have nice bonuses, FWIW), keeping in mind -ToHit stacks with +def.

I'm not a fan of the mines, but YMMV.

I'd rather have the full leadersip suite than the fighting pool, but, again, YMMV.

No experience with AR, so I'm completely out of my league there.

Seeker Drones is slotted to get the set bonuses.

As for the Fighting Pool it is a toon based off Duke Nukem, being tough is a necessity.

All my builds are based around positional Defense cap. The last build is a most current build that I would probably use and just swap out DP for AR. The rest of these builds are for guidance. But they pretty much have the same theme. These are all toons I actually play and solo 4/8 settings with.

The sonic is a old build and probably needs to be updated to DP build settings. Haven't played him in a few weeks and my VM was corrupted so I had to revert to old snap shot and lost my current builds.

Traps AR Defender for idea purposes..

As for the Fighting Pool it is a toon based off Duke Nukem, being tough is a necessity.
Fair 'nuff.

But, IIRC, Seeker Drones will make stuff hit less often and for less damage than Tough and Weave.
