Combat attributes showing wrong numbers for influence

It's been this way since it went Live. The only ways to be 100% certain of the Inf you have on had are to either go to the Character ID window (where you can input your Bio), or click on a Vendor/Market NPC.
Bringing up the Trade window should work, too, but requires a second character.

That's odd. I really never had the problem until about 2 weeks ago, personally. My influence totals in combat attributes always used to match the numbers shown by the market. Now, it seems to be off most if not all the time.
I've noticed it happens around the time you hit the Million Mark. If you have less than a Million Inf, it tends to match up, but more than that, and it gets wonky.
Also: It needs Commas. o.o

I've been having the above problem for a few weeks now. It's usually just off by a few units, but when you're trying to work around the influence cap it can be mildly annoying.
