several questions, reactivation referal and forum related

Played years ago, and my master account is all updated now. Wanted to check the game out again, and a few problems. One, i cannot, in any way shape or form, use my old game account name to login with on the forums, EVEN AFTER i reset the password. Twice.

Which made what i wanted to do, (post in forums for a reactivation referral) completely freeking impossible. At any rate, i created a "trial" account just so i could get in here and post. Yeesh!

So i'd be after 2 things, anyone that wants to give me a referal code and possibly answer any "im a noob all over again" questions i might have in game,

and 2, perhaps a mod or higher up that can help me figure out how i can use my main account name to post questions and things on the forum again? the account is at least 5 years old, so im sure something is just not working right in the transition.

You should probably shoot a PM to Avatea, Zwillinger or Beastyle (redname community folks) about the problem with your login name. Sometimes they read this forum, but it's really for players answering players.

All three of them post in the Announcements forum if you want the quickest way to tag their forum accounts.

If you're asking for a reactivation code, I assume that means that you haven't reactivated your old game account yet? If that's the case, then it's no surprise you can't log into the forums - you can only log into the forums with an active game account.

Another possibility: When the forums were changed, your login was changed from your forum name to your account login (the same login name you use to get into the game). If you can't remember your account name, it can be found in your Master Account.
