ANZAC Day is a commemoration of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps service in all conflicts as well as for current serving personnel. This commemorated by a laying of a wreath, the recitation of the Ode, and the playing of the Last Post with a minute's silence. This ceremony will take place in front of the braziers in Atlas Park.
The service will begin proper at 8:15pm EST and conclude at 8:30 EST. Green Taipan will lead the ceremony and be your guide. The Ode is recited by the ceremony leader, but those present are asked to recite the final line after the reciter as a mark of respect. It is as follows:
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
A minute's silence will follow the playing of the last post which will be linked to those present.
