I've just upgraded from an NVIDEA GeForce 9600GT to the GTX580.
Years back there used to be a forum entry on the settings to use via the Nvidea Control Panel, and the settings ingame, but I can no longer find it.
I'd like to know if someone can either
1) redirect me to the forum post which advised which settings to use in-game, and in the Nvidea Control Panel,
or
2) advise me of the settings to use to get optimum Ultra Graphics mode to really WOW me in-game!
Considering I have bought a new high end graphics card, I'd now like to know what the settings should be so that I get the best visual experience without suffering any performance loss.
At present, I have set all ultra settings to maximum, with excellent quality and no noticeable slowdown, however I do occasionally get a "black screen" blink - almost as if the gfx are refreshing.
For further information, I am usung a SAMSUNG SyncMaster BX2450 LED monitor, and running a quad core Fujitsu Siemens Amilo PC at Q8300 2.5GhZ

Get away from that computer once in a while!
Opinions are like bottoms, we all have one, and they usually stink.
Peace.
