You don't actually need most of the invention table to be even visible for it to function. The important, clickable section is the black horizontal surface. That frees you up to sink the plainly tech portions into other objects -- walls, floors, altars, statues. You can also play around with it to see exactly how little of the clickable surface you need open to access the table. I'd be willing to bet you can cover over an enormous portion.
U have seen them placed in altars and desks before. With care you may even be able to submerge it completely since the click has a short range as opposed to an actual surface. This needs to be confirmed though.

Have a small and slowly built base and the Invention Worktable bugs me. Despite being in the Arcane tab, it's still a desk + computer. Anyone have suggestions on how to disguise it to look like almost anything more magic themed? For reference, the actual character is designed based upon Ancient Egypt.
