How long for a char transfer? Been a week

When they go through, I've always had them go through really fast - within seconds.

Finally got a email saying it had been cleared.
As for why I paid to transfer, I already spent a lot of time on this one and wanted to move him to a server with more people so I might be able to get into a team. On my old server only got in one team and that was with my main which is a 50. On the new server I have already been in numerous teams and even a new sg. Just more people to play with
I have no idea if I need to post this here, but I am hoping I can get some clues to what is wrong.
I paid (6 days ago) to transfer servers with a new toon I made.
I have not been able to log in with that character since. Each time I select him I get kicked back to login screen with a window that says my character is marked for a server transaction and that it normally takes several minutes but can take much longer. If the problem continues to contact support.
I contacted support 2 days ago and got back within 2 hours a email that said it was being escalated and I should hear from someone with 24hrs. 24hrs have come and gone,I even updated my issue requesting a reply in hopes of hearing from someone. Still nothing.
So, I am posting here for 2 reasons:
1) Did I do the transfer wrong? I login, goto my old server and select transfer then the charter and the new server. Did I somehow screw myself?
2) Maybe someone with a nice red name can help me get this fixed.
