In your case, having a pocket /kin - I would go for boosting the judgement nuke. So, musculature (or nerve, if you want to boost the accuracy of it)
I think you'd get better damage out of increasing your recharge and getting your hard-hitting attacks up quicker than increasing the damage of one slow power

I just had a few quick questions regarding which alpha slot I should choose. I am familiar with all of them, but my situation is just slightly different than most.
When I play CoH I always log on with my bro, who plays a Earth/Kin. So I can rely on /Kinetic for end, and fulcrum shift. Ive built my Scrapper assuming I will have these benefits (less endurance reduction etc.).
I was trying to decide between Musculature or Spiritual. I know most people without SB might say spiritual hands down, but with 100% reliance on a Kinetic opens up some options for other possibilities. Right now, with Speed Boost I have 168% recharge. My scrapper is Fire/Shield, and by adding the Spiritual Alpha set, the over all reduction in time is negligible. However, It does add up. I believe my fire sword circle drops from 5.7 second recharge to 5.1 seconds.
I am constantly damage capped at 400% due to fulcrum shift, so the only advantage of going Musculature would be to add damage to the Judgement nuke, which is not a bad idea in it of itself.
Just to clarify, would the musculature alpha increase base damage of all attacks in any way? If I am constantly capped at 400% damage, will Musculature do anything for me at all, other than buffing the Judgement nukes?
What do you think? Do I go Musculature just to buff the nuke? (Assuming I have no problem being damage capped, which I don't) Or do I go with spiritual and get .6 faster Fire Sword Circles, and 4 second faster Shield Smash?
