Question for Bane Spider/Mace Mastery PPP

You got it right for the most part. They act the same as the Beam and the Blast, but use different recharge times and deal more damage. Basically, you get a second, more potent Blast and Beam on top of the other three powers. I can't confirm if Disruption Blast has a bigger area of effect though. I personally am going with mace mastery just so I don't have to fumble to and from the mace.
Besides, you can always respec or make another build. Hope this helps.
Take Shatter Armor!
It doesn't critical from Hide but it has a nice 20% Resistance Debuff and does great damage.

i took the web grenade, shatter armor and the blaster spider pet, and didn't look back.
when i first leveled my bane, i tried out the different blast to see if they were worth it. if you have zero ranged attacks (any you should at least have poisonous ray), then mace blast/beam (whichever it is) is not a bad choice. but the AoE blast sucks.
web nade is nice for too large a spawn and retreating, or just slowing them. bosses too -> gives you time to placate and re-hide or lay waste with whatever blasts you have. shatter armor has -damage resist so its a nice addition to your melee attacks (hits hard too! but not critical from hide) and the blaster is a good addition to call reinforcements.

I took web envelop. You really don't need the two inferior blast attacks from patron but the envelop is good for grounding flyers.
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
My Defense-capped Bane build grabs the mace blast, mainly so I've got something to drill runners with. The regular mace beam is more efficient and recharges quicker, but I figured I could sac some efficiency for a meatier punch. Web envelope is certainly a viable option, but I like the blast, and I can always ground flyers with Web Cocoon.

Hi everyone,
I'm playing a Bane Spider who is near level 40 and i'm considering on taking the Mace Mastery PPP but something bothers me a little with this matter.I think that some of the Mace PPP's powers like Mace Blast or Disruptor Blast are the same ones(effect-wise)with the powers i have allready from my Bane Spider powerset like Mce Beam or Mace Beam Blast.Can anyone confirm that?Because if this really occurs then i might be considering on taking another PPP(though highly unlikely).
