Two alternatives here:
1. Hold down the Fn key in the lower left corner to use the function keys.
2. Go to System Settings, and then Keyboard. There's a checkbox there labeled "Use all F1, F2 etc keys as standard function keys". Turn that on. After that, you'll have to hold down Fn to use the feature keys like dimming and itunes control.

Hey, I just came back to CoH after not being able to use my old windows comp to run the game.. I have a mac now and whenever I try to use an inspiration slot instead of the inspiration being popped, my computer either brightens, dims, shows my open windows etc.. depending on what the little quick icon is on the F key. How the heck do I disable the quick icons when I'm only in game?
