New badge Idea for Alt'coholics

I have an idea on a couple (if not 6) new badges…. 1st set for the number of characters created and the 2nd set for the number of characters deleted.
This could be an account badge/ accolade for those Alt’coholics that exist and have exceeded the default number of available character slots and deleted characters just to make room for a new concept character. There could be 3 levels of each badge with an accolade for all 6 badges that grant to holder ½ price Icon costume changes for the account.
I’m not sure what to call each badge or how many should be created/deleted to grant the badges but it would be nice to see the in game Alt’coholics via a badge.

People still pay for costume changes?

Anyway, seems like a pretty meaningless badge that could be obtained in about 5 minutes. /unsigned, give me something worth doing

So not only do you want a new set of badges that would be "farmed" just by instantly creating and deleting a bunch of temporary characters (as DarkGob mentioned) but you want them to be a "grindy" account based set of badges that have nothing to do with actually playing a specific character in this game? I don't want to be insulting but I really can't imagine a worse idea for a new type of badge for this game. Account-based badges are bad enough but account-based badges you have to grind to get? Thanks, but no thanks.

I understand you'd like to come up with a way to recognize people who like to play a bunch of alts in the game but this is very much NOT the way to do that.

This.

Badges for playing alts? Sure.

This isn't a badge for playing them though. This is a badge for sitting in the character creation screen for a couple hours creating and deleting characters over and over. It doesn't have anything to do with actually playing the game, which is what badges are awarded for.

Which is a ridiculous idea for a badge. That would be like the devs creating an entire series of badges for not even playing!

At least Day Job badges are character-based badges and only require trivial amounts of effort to park your characters at certain locations to get them. I'm not saying they were the best idea for badges, but they are almost infinitely better than this metagamey alt-badge idea. *shrugs*
