Elec/Psi or Elec/Elec Dom?

Planning to get into PVP (multi-purpose) and I'm considering an Elec/Psi or Elec/Elec Dom. You can build up resists and defenses to a lot of things, but endurance/recovery drain is something a bit more difficult to deal with. No endurance, no recovery, no toggles, no attacks... right?

So why do I get the sneaking suspicion that I'm missing something?

I see quite a few builds for other ATs and combos when I look around here (PVP apparently isn't quite as FOTM as advertised...), but nothing working from a sapper angle. Is there a PVP-only mechanic that makes sappers useless?

If you want a sapper, you want to sapp fast or sapp and at the same time be able to deal significant dmg from range, preferably. To that end Elec/Thermal corrupter is good and Sonic/Thermal, and Dark/Thermal (dark dmg is solid, dark debuffs are solid, and thermal debuffs not only endurance but resists and defense). If and when you go up vs a Cold debuffer, you can forget about draining him reliably or consistently. A cold will debuff your ability to debuff (seriously) and Heat loss will provide him with endurance. In team arena, you can forget about elec/elec being useful for drain. It's not going to happen. Your contribution as a Dom will be more as a disruptor, but mind/ is better for LOL TK.

Elec/Elec Dom will not have enough fast DPS from range to compete in duels reliably, and in duels, debuffs and fast range damage trump the endurance debuff from an elec/elec Dom.

Now, I will suggest you look at elec/ Dom for the Confuse more than for the range. Confusing and damaging at same time will get you more kills than the endurance strategy. If you build on that strength and build your tactics around that, I think you will pose more of a threat. That, of course, will help if you can get your confuse to last enough to be a significant problem for opponent.

Make all IO's available in Paragon Market! NCSoft, the chinese are making BIG money selling influence and other stuff in the game. Best way to stop them = make the paragon market a place to buy all IO's and perhaps other things as well.
