Wont get past "Loading" bar at launch

Anyone have any ideas? The support site is down..and I'd like to get this up and running 
There have been other people with the same problem (search the forums for m11x).
This particular laptop has the NVidia Optimus technology:

And there is a known problem with the game. You should be able to get into the game with the game's safe mode (safe mode check-box at the User Agreement in CohUpdater or "Launch in Safe Mode check-box in the game properties in NCsoft Launcher).
On your hijackthis disable all the Stardock utilities. Windowblinds is the primary culprit and is the program providing the alienware skin but the others might interfere as well.

Hi guys, I just bought a new Alienware m11x: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.3ghz Nvidia GeForce GT335m, 4gb RAM, Windows 7 Home premium 64bit
and I just get stuck at the small loading bar. I have a hunch it's this Alienware skin (AlienFX) that is pre installed..but I have no idea how to remove it.

I just want this to work ....i got this laptop for a reason so my wife could play with me on something portable. I've not even had this laptop a full 24 hours and the first game I go to play doesn't work. (I've been playing coh for over 7 years and I've never had a problem like this before.)
