Having problems with the NCSoft launcher.

Hello everyone.

First and foremost, I'ld like to thank the Devs for all their wonderful work

Now, I'm not sure this is where this question belong, but here we are.

I tried using the NC Soft launcher to play CoH, but when I do, a window pops which reads: "Launching City of Heroes/Villains" with a progress bar underneat. Problem is, it simply repeats this operation over and over again and the game doesn't launch at all.

Also, I downloaded the COH installer to use witht he new launcher as we were instructed, but when I open it, it says "Access Denied" and nothing happens.

So I ask, my fellow player; What the what?

Thanks for the reply, Tiger, but I still don't know what's up

I checked the NC launcher (CoH>properties) and I noticed that CoH: "This game does not support patching throught the NC launcher".
I assume this is why we had to download that new COH installer file, but, like I said before, when I run it, it simply says "access denied" and does nothing, even when I run it as an administrator.

I have this same issue (not the access denied part), but only for my beta install. My regular and Test installs launch fine from the same launcher. I petitioned it like saturday, it was promptly escalated and I haven't heard anything since :/ . I am still on Windows XP, so it's not any vista/7 garbage blocking something.

Have I mentioned I hate the new launcher anywhere on the forums yet?
