Countdown Timer
Yeah, that'd be useful (and it exists on a few other things - like multi-build or costume changes.)
Sending e-mails has the same problem - it only tells you that you can send one every 15 seconds, not "you can send in X more seconds".
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...
A countdown timer would be nice, similar to the one they have on the tips themselves. "You've been famous for this for X:XX.
I'd also like to see all the cooldowns standardized at 18 hours, but that's another kettle of fish. I don't see that those two hours are going to make or break the game, and it's easier to just be aware of one duration than two.
Check out the Repeat Offenders network of SGs! You'll be glad you did.
Agreed, this would be a useful change.

I tried to go convert merits into a hero merit this morning, and wasn't able to because of the 20 hour timer on it. I'd like to see that done away with, but I've resigned myself to the fact that it's not going to happen, so as long as we're stuck with it (and other things that are locked out by real-life timers, such as TF rewards, tips, etc.) could we get a countdown that tells us how long it will be before we can do whatever it is again?
For example, instead of just the red message saying "You can only do this once every 20 hours" for converting merits to hero merits, have it say "You can do this again in 2 hours, 4 minutes, and 12 seconds." It would be useful since on some characters I have a few hundred merits I want to convert, and I don't always remember how long it's been since I last did it, and it's kind of a pain to have to keep checking.
