On Vacation

For a player that normally takes long leaves of absences from the game such as myself, I'd like to suggest an "On Vacation" feature to be added to Supergroups. My reasoning for this is because, as I mentioned due to college studies and what not, I often find myself offline for several weeks at a time and when days begin to accumulate it really looks bad for newcomers of my SG to see a high ranking officer offline for up to 30 days. Normally, one could just suggest kicking the officer and simply re-inviting them once they return, but the drawback to that is I lose all the prestige I earned for the SG; which is really important to me as it makes me feel as if I've really contributed to our success.

The On Vacation item would replace the number of days online item and can only be instituted by talking to the SG leader and having him/her approve of the change (that way not everyone can just go offline for days and call themselves on vacation).

Any thoughts on this?

And why would anyone need to be kicked?

"Where's so and so?" "School. So-and-so is in charge ATM." "OK." So... what's the problem?

Also, you don't lose prestige. Prestige isn't yours TO lose.

Pretty much this.

But, you do indeed lose your prestige count next to your name, which could be like a badge count to some people I guess. The supergroup doesn't lose that prestige, but anyone looking at your name after you've been re-invited won't see your "real" score.
